COACHES COMMENTS - Zach has as much fun wrestling as anybody I've ever watched. He reminds all the wrestlers what this is all about. Having Fun!

JOSEPH BATTAGLINI:
AGE - 10
WEIGHT - 70lbs
YEARS EXPERIENCE - 3rd year
WRESTLING ACCOMPLISHMENTS - 4th Place at 2001 league tournament. He has 21 wins in his two years of wrestling.
COACHES COMMENTS - Joey became more and more aggressive and confident as the season rolled on last year. That helped turn him from a good wrestler, into a very good wrestler. He has the potential to be a great wrestler this year.

MICHAEL BATTAGLINI:
AGE - 8
WEIGHT - 52lbs
YEARS EXPERIENCE - 2nd year
WRESTLING ACCOMPLISHMENTS - 4th Place at 2001 league tournament. Went 14-6 in the league, and 18-11 overall in his first year of wrestling.
COACHES COMMENTS - Mike is fast and strong at his weight. He also is a quick learner. Together, this helped him have an incredible first year. I am excited to watch him continue to improve this year.

CORY BEAVER:
AGE - 11
WEIGHT - 125lbs
YEARS EXPERIENCE - 3rd year
WRESTLING ACCOMPLISHMENTS - 2001 PJW State Champ. Back to back MAWA Eastern National Runner-up(00 & 01). Has won 17 tournaments, and gone 102-8 (61 pins)over his first two years of wrestling. Career takedown record is 200-15.
COACHES COMMENTS - Nobody works harder than Cory in the practice room. That along with his continuing desire to improve has turned him into a State Champ

ALLEN CHRISMER:
AGE - 9
WEIGHT - 80lbs
YEARS EXPERIENCE - 2nd year
WRESTLING ACCOMPLISHMENTS - Went 14-6 in the league and had 17 overall wins in his first year of wrestling.
COACHES COMMENTS - Allen had a tremendous first year. I look for him to be successful again this year, because of his natural ability. If he continues to improve, he will be tough to beat.

EDWARD CHRISTIAN III:
AGE - 10
WEIGHT - 65lbs
YEARS EXPERIENCE - 2nd year
WRESTLING ACCOMPLISHMENTS - Won 7 matches his first year.
COACHES COMMENTS - Edward is a great kid! Easy to coach, and fun to watch. He gives everything when he wrestles, and it shows. Although he did have 7 wins last year, he lost some real close matches. I know he's eager to learn, and I believe that will help him win those close matches this year.

RYAN COLLINS:
AGE - 10
WEIGHT - 80lbs
YEARS EXPERIENCE - 5th year
WRESTLING ACCOMPLISHMENTS - Went from 3-9 in the league in 2000, to 10-7 in 2001.
COACHES COMMENTS - Ryan is one of those wrestlers who make coaching a pleasure. He has fun and enjoys himself while he's wrestling. He also has improved tremendously from 99-00. With his attitude, nothing he accomplishes this year will surprise me.

TAYLOR GROUP:
AGE - 12
WEIGHT - 92lbs
YEARS EXPERIENCE - 4th year
WRESTLING ACCOMPLISHMENTS - 3rd Place at 2001 league tournament. Has 17 wins over the past two years.
COACHES COMMENTS - Taylor took 3rd in a very tough weight class at the league tournament last year. He is a very determined wrestler. I know Taylor will continue to improve and be very successful this year, also. He will be one of our team's leaders.

ROSS HOLLAND:
AGE - 10
WEIGHT - 70lbs
YEARS EXPERIENCE - 3rd year
WRESTLING ACCOMPLISHMENTS - Back to back 4th Place winner at the leage tournament. Has a 30-8 record in the league in his first two years of wrestling, and 35 career wins.
COACHES COMMENTS - Ross has become a Cen-Penn hammer. He is a determined wrestler who wrestles with more heart then most wrestlers could dream of. He is one of our team leaders, and has provided inspiration to every wrestler in the league. Simply put, Ross has learned to be an outstanding wrestler even without his lower legs. He's very good at football & baseball too!

BEN KILLEEN:
AGE - 11
WEIGHT - 65lbs
YEARS EXPERIENCE - 7th year
WRESTLING ACCOMPLISHMENTS - 2001 Cen-Penn Champ. 2000 Hanover YMCA Tournament Champ. (to mention some of his championships)Although I'm not sure of Bens career record, I'm sure he has over 100 wins. In the last two years alone, he has 35 wins.
COACHES COMMENTS - Ben is one of our best technical wrestlers. He's very quick, and sharp at his wrestling skills. Widely known throughout the league, Ben will be one of our team leaders this year. I have the feeling the whole Pennsylvania wrestling community will know who Ben Killeen is before he's done.

JOSHUA LOMBARD:
AGE - 10
WEIGHT - 90lbs
YEARS EXPERIENCE - 5th year
WRESTLING ACCOMPLISHMENTS - 3rd Place at 2001 league tournament. Not sure of his career record, but went 14-6 last year.
COACHES COMMENTS - Josh beat some tough kids last year and had a great season. He improved a ton from the previous year, and there is no reason to expect him not to continue improving this year. He has a great deal of natural talent he must have picked up from his dad, former Littlestown great, Gordon Lombard.

PHILIP MACY:
AGE - 10
WEIGHT - 70lbs
YEARS EXPERIENCE - 5th year
WRESTLING ACCOMPLISHMENTS - 3 time Cen-Penn Champ. Many other tournament championships including Boiling Springs & Hanover YMCA to name a few. Over 100 career wins. Went 52-7 the past two years.
COACHES COMMENTS - Incredible athlete who, in my opinion, has become one of the best wrestlers in the state at his weight. Philip has never been pinned, and has beaten some of the best out there. Included in his wins are victories over several MAWA Eastern National & Ohio Tournament of Champion Placewinners. Look for big things from Philip this year!

NATHANIEL POST:
AGE - 9
WEIGHT - 60lbs
YEARS EXPERIENCE - 2nd year
WRESTLING ACCOMPLISHMENTS - 7 wins in his first year of wrestling
COACHES COMMENTS - Nathaniel did a great job in his first year. He picked up 7 wins and improved as the season progressed. As coach, I am proud of any wrestler that improves. Nathaniel qualifies! Look for himl to continue to improve this year, and enjoy a successfull 2002 season.

KYLE ROY:
AGE - 10
WEIGHT - 100lbs
YEARS EXPERIENCE - 3rd year
WRESTLING ACCOMPLISHMENTS - Went 12-6 in 2001, and 7-5 in 2000.
COACHES COMMENTS - Kyle is another wrestler who wrestles with a ton of heart. He has the potential to become an outstanding wrestler. I don't doubt he will, especially since he is such a great listener. He picks up things fast.

JOSHUA RUPPERT:
AGE - 8
WEIGHT - 54lbs
YEARS EXPERIENCE - 2nd year
WRESTLING ACCOMPLISHMENTS - 2001 Cen-Penn Runner-up. Went 15-3 in the league in his first year of wrestling. Had 18 overall wins.
COACHES COMMENTS - Joshua was incredible in his first year, capping it off with a Runner-up finish at the league Championship. Josh is flat out a tough kid. And as he picked up on the moves, he became a very hard wrestler to beat. It will be fun to see just how good this kid gets!

THOMAS SHOWVAKER:
AGE - 10
WEIGHT - 78lbs
YEARS EXPERIENCE - 4th year
WRESTLING ACCOMPLISHMENTS - 2 time Cen-Penn Champion. Has 57 career victories in his three years of wrestling.
COACHES COMMENTS - Thomas has turned himself into one of our hammers. He showed everyone how to take it to the next level when he won his second Cen-Penn Championship in 2001. He had some remarkable come from behind wins to reach the top of the podium. He already is working hard for 2002, which leads me to believe he is in for yet another very successful season. No doubt, he will have a leadership role for this years team.

ERIC SMITH:
AGE - 10
WEIGHT - 70lbs
YEARS EXPERIENCE - 6th year
WRESTLING ACCOMPLISHMENTS - 12 wins in the last two years.
COACHES COMMENTS - Eric is a hard worker, who has steadily improved. He won some exciting matches last year which fueled his confidence. With his work ethic along with the fact that he is a great listener, I think Eric will become better and better as his confidence grows. Which I know it will.

RYAN VAUGHN:
AGE - 8
WEIGHT - 65lbs
YEARS EXPERIENCE - 2nd year
WRESTLING ACCOMPLISHMENTS - Went 10-6 in the league and had 15 total wins in his first year of wrestling
COACHES COMMENTS - From the first time I watched Ryan wrestle, I knew he was a real natural. He had some of the most exciting matches of the year. Several of them he lost by scores of 19-17, 16-15 and so forth. As he becomes more experienced, Ryan is going to turn into a very special wrestler. Mark my words

BLAKE WAGAMAN:
AGE - 9
WEIGHT - 40lbs
YEARS EXPERIENCE - 2rd year
WRESTLING ACCOMPLISHMENTS - Went 8-4 in the league, during his first year of wrestling.
COACHES COMMENTS - It sure is GREAT getting Blake back for his second year of wrestling! He showed a tremendous amount of promise during his outstanding rookie season. Although Blake was often forced to wrestle opponents heavier than himself, he battled hard and ended with quite an impressive record. He is a great listener, a quick learner, and and all-around great kid. This is why I am very confident Blake will continue improving.

COLBY WAGAMAN:
AGE - 10
WEIGHT - 62lbs
YEARS EXPERIENCE - 3rd year
WRESTLING ACCOMPLISHMENTS - 2001 Cen-Penn Champion. Has gone 23-7 in the league after his first two years of wrestling. 36 total career wins.
COACHES COMMENTS - Colby is fast, strong, and aggressive. He also is an incredibly quick learner. Together, this has turned Colby into one of Cen-Penn's best wrestlers. I really enjoy coaching kids like Colby. You only have to tell him something once. I am glad LYW has kids like Colby to lead the team!

CHARLES WALLS:
AGE - 10
WEIGHT - 100lbs
YEARS EXPERIENCE - 3rd year
WRESTLING ACCOMPLISHMENTS - 3rd at 2001 league tournament. Champion at several other tournaments, including Waynesboro and Southern Lehigh. Qualified for MAWA Eastern Nationals in 2001. Missed placing by a single point. Had 45 total wins in his first two years of wrestling, including a 29-6 Cen-Penn record.
COACHES COMMENTS - Charles had a breakout year in 2001. He is incredibly strong and determined. As he continues to improve his wrestling skills, Charles is going to turn himself into one of the best around. Look for some big things out of Charles this year. He's on the brink of being known statewide.

KEITH WEAVER:
AGE - 10
WEIGHT - 100lbs
YEARS EXPERIENCE - 3rd year
WRESTLING ACCOMPLISHMENTS - 4th at 2001 league tournament.
COACHES COMMENTS - Keith is flat out a great kid with a fantastic attitude. The way he stepped it up to place 4th at last years league tournament was awesome. He wrestled as well as anyone on the team at that tournament. You can just see Keith improve with each match. I sure am glad kids like Keith wrestle. He makes coaching fun. I hope to help Keith continue to improve in 2002.

CHRIS WETHERSON:
AGE - 8
WEIGHT - 54lbs
YEARS EXPERIENCE - 2nd year
WRESTLING ACCOMPLISHMENTS - went 5-7 in his first year of wrestling
COACHES COMMENTS - Super nice kid who really enjoyed himself wrestling last year. After Chris became more comfortable out there on the mat, he started to become more and more aggressive. I don't think anyone on the team improved any more than Chris did last year. You could see his confidence grow with each match. He ended the year with a neat little winning streak.

RONALD WETHERSON:
AGE - 10
WEIGHT - 85lbs
YEARS EXPERIENCE - 2nd year
WRESTLING ACCOMPLISHMENTS - went 7-7 in his first year of wrestling.
COACHES COMMENTS - Coaches try to encourage wrestlers to set and go for goals. Ron did exactly that last year. After a rough start, Ron set his mind to getting back to .500 or better. I can tell you he worked hard to do it, and it paid off. He finished strong, reaching the .500 mark. Look for him to do real well this year, also. I think he picked up a ton of confidence the second half of last season.

SETH WREN:
AGE - 8
WEIGHT - 65lbs
YEARS EXPERIENCE - 2nd year
WRESTLING ACCOMPLISHMENTS - 3 wins in his first year of wrestling.
COACHES COMMENTS - One of Littlestown's brightest upcoming pitchers & quarterbacks. Also has tons of wrestling potential that just needs to be polished with experience. I look for Seth to make some major strides this year. He's such a great all-around athlete.

TYLER ZITTLE:
AGE - 11
WEIGHT - 95lbs
YEARS EXPERIENCE - 3rd year
WRESTLING ACCOMPLISHMENTS - 2 time Cen-Penn Champion(00-01). Has gone 28-6 in the league, and 41-12 overall in his first two years of wrestling.
COACHES COMMENTS - Tyler was real good right out of the blocks. But in his first Cen-Penn Championship match, he pulled off a huge upset. There's been no looking back since then. He has worked himself into becoming one of the league's elite. I can guarantee you Tyler is in for yet another highly successful season, just because I know how hard he works to become the best he can be.
