A Tiger of the Week is someone who not only worked hard in that weeks practices, but showed improvement in his/her wrestling. Wins or losses doesn't necessarily have anything to do with who gets picked. The LYW coaches will pick 7 Tigers of the Week for each match.


Match # 1 - ASHLEY BRADY
INTERVIEW
Interviewer - Tell me about your matches today.
Ashley - I didn't think I was going to win, and um, I thought they were going to win, but I won.
Interviewer - Do you like wrestling so far, and do you plan on wrestling again next year?
Ashley - Yes, I really like wrestling, and I am going to go out again next year
Interviewer - Do you have any favorite wrestlers?
Ashley - I don't got a favorite wrestler
Interviewer - How about food. What is your favorite food?
Ashley - Pizza

Interviewer - Tell me about your matches today. Did you win or lose? How many did you wrestle?
Cody - I won all of them. I had 4 matches today.
Interviewer - So you went 4-0. Great job, Cody! Do you like wrestling, and are you going to wrestle next year?
Cody - Yes, and yes.

Brik - Um, it was pretty fun, but the last one I lost. My Dad thinks I did really good.

Tyler - I think I did good. I pinned two people, and I think my brother, Tanner did good too. He pinned two people also.
Interviewer - Do you like wrestling so far this year?
Tyler - Yes, I do!
Interviewer - Who's your favorite wrestler?
Tyler - I'm not sure
Interviewer - Do you plan on wrestling next year also?
Tyler - Yes

Interviewer - Tell me about your matches today, Bobby.
Bobby - It was very hard. I couldn't do the moves that have a hard technique very much.
Interviewer - With wrestling, do you like wrestling, and do you have a favorite wrestler?
Bobby - Yes, I like wrestling, but I don't know who my favorite wrestler is.
Interviewer - Are you going out for wrestling next year?
Bobby - Maybe, I don't Know
Interviewer - What's your favorite food?

MATCH # 1 - RYAN VAUGHN
INTERVIEW
Interviewer - Tell me about your matches today, Ryan.
Ryan - I pinned two today, and I feel good because I'm doing better then last year.
Interviewer - Do you like wrestling?
Ryan - YES! I'm going to keep on wrestling.
Interviewer - What are your favorite foods?
Ryan - Pizza & Hot Dogs.
FOOTNOTE: Ryan has raised his Cen-Penn record to 5-0. He also has 9 overall wins & a Biglerville Tournament Championship under his belt already this year.
Match # 1 - RON WETHERSON
INTERVIEW
Interviewer - Tell me about your matches today.
Ron - Well, it was sort of hard because he was two years ahead of me, I think, but I kept on fighting. I was down 4-2, then I came back with a takedown, and kept on getting back points, and that's how it came out 7-4.
Interviewer - Good job! So, tell me, do you like wrestling?
Ron - Yea!
Interviewer - Who's your favorite wrestler?
Ron - The Rock from WWF
Interviewer - What's your favorite sport?
Ron - Football and Wrestling.
FOOTNOTE: Ron went on to win all three of his matches. He currently sits with a 5-0 record!
Match # 2 - GARRETT BILL
INTERVIEW
Interviewer - Tell me about your last match.
Garrett - It was a pin.
Interviewer - What round was that?
Garrett - 2nd round
Interviewer - So how is your day going so far?
Garrett - 2-0 so far.
Interviewer - If you could choose anybody to be a hero or role model, who would it be?
Garrett - Cory Beaver
Interviewer - Why would that be?
Garrett - Because he's good at wrestling.
FOOTNOTE: Garrett went on to win all three of his matches by pin to raise his season record to 5-0
Match # 2 - JOSHUA BOLEWSKI
INTERVIEW
Interviewer - You had a couple of tough matches out there. Tell me about them
Josh - Well, it was hard but I pulled through and only lost by a couple of points. It was tough but so was I.
Interviewer - I understand both of your opponents had more experience then you do.
Josh - Yes, but I went out there like a man and I gave what I could give out, and that's all I can do, and I'm greatful for what I did.
Interviewer - Who is one of your role models?
Josh - I would probably pick my friend, Hunter Jones because he was a National Champ and he has taught me alot of wrestling ever since I was 6 yrs old. This is the first year I was ever on a wrestling team, and what he taught me really helped me.
FOOTNOTE: Josh went on to win his next two matches!
Match # 2 - JIMMY BRADY
INTERVIEW
Interviewer - Tell me about your matches today
Jimmy - They were GOOD!
Interviewer - How did you win?
Jimmy - By points.
Interviewer - Could you tell me who one of your heros may be, and why they are your hero?
Jimmy - My Mom is my hero because she loves me.
MATCH # 2 - ROSS HOLLAND
INTERVIEW
Interviewer - OK Ross, you were selected as one of our Tigers. So tell me about your last match, bud.
Ross - I pinned the kid in I'm not sure how much time, but I pinned him.
Interviewer - This was your second match. How did you do in the first one?
Ross - I pinned him
Interviewer - Do you have any more matches today?
Ross - I have two more. (as it turned out, Ross pinned both of them to finish with 4 pins for the day)
Interviewer - Who would you say is one of your role models?
Ross - I don't know
Interviewer - You don't have any?
Ross - I guess not.
Match # 2 - BEN KILLEEN
INTERVIEW
Interviewer - So Ben, you look a little red faced. Tell me about your match you just finished.
Ben - I tried my best to put him on his back, but it was hard.
Interviewer - So did you win by pin or points, and what was the score?
Ben - By points. The first match I won 5-0, but I'm not sure what the score was in the second match that I won
Interviewer - Who would you say is a role model of yours?
Ben - ummmm, probably my brother.
Interviewer - Why?
Ben - Because he never gives up, and he always tries his best
Interviewer - What does he do?
Ben - Well, he likes the sweeping single & the fireman's carry
Interviewer - Oh, he's a fireman?
Ben - No, he's a wrestler
Interviewer - ahh
Match # 2 - TONY POPP
INTERVIEW
Interviewer - Tell me about your matches, Tony.
Tony - Ah, it was pretty good.
Interviewer - How about your match where you came from behind, and pinned him. How did you pull it off?
Tony - I just turned around real fast.
Interviewer - Do you plan on going out for wrestling next year?
Tony - I don't know.
Interviewer - Who would you say is one of your heros or role models?
Tony - Tony Hawk
Interviewer - Who would that be?
Tony - He's a skateboarder.
Match # 2 - JOSHUA RUPPERT
INTERVIEW
Interviewer - Tell me about your matches, Josh
Josh - Fine, just a little hard.
Interviewer - Why were they hard?
Josh - Cause I thought I had him pinned a couple of times, but they weren't called.
Interviewer - How did the match end?
Josh - By points. I think it was 11 to something.
Interviewer - Who would be one of your heros?
Josh - My Dad.
Interviewer - Why would that be?
Josh - Because he helps me alot with wrestling.
