WON AGAINST NEW OXFORD(139-40 pts, 27-10 bouts)
WON AGAINST BOILING SPRINGS(86-67 pts, 19-15 bouts)

17 WRESTLERS GO UNDEFEATED!!!
TEAM GOES (374-164 pts, 78-38 bouts) ON THE DAY!!!

ZACHARY ADCOCK***TIGER OF THE WEEK***
Match#1 - Won 6-2
Match#2 - Won by Pin
Whoa dude!! A HUGE day for Zach Adcock! He went 2-0, and easily earned our TIGER OF THE WEEK AWARD. Zach has as good of an attitude as any wrestler I've ever coached, and I was extremely happy to see him get two wins. I was especially impressed with his pin! GREAT JOB, ZACH!

JOSEPH BATTAGLINI
Match#1 - Lost 4-7
Match#2 - Won by Forfeit
Match#3 - Won 11-4
Joey wrestled great in each of his matches. He was involved in one of the day's most exciting matches in a 4-7 loss. I know any wrestler is disappointed in losing such a close match, but Joey can be proud of how hard he wrestled. He shook it off and went out there and got a big win the next time out, 11-4.

MICHAEL BATTAGLINI
Match#1 - Lost 4-8
Match#2 - Lost 2-5
Match#3 - Lost 1-15
One thing I can easily say about Michael is he's one tough kid! He has wrestled the toughest kids all year long, and it hasn't slowed down his aggressive wrestling style in the least bit. He has a ton of close match losses this year, and he added to that list at this meet. Keep fighting, Mike! Remember, you're becoming a better wrestler by taking on such tough competition every week. You will be ready to shine by the time the league tournament rolls around.

CORY BEAVER
Match#1 - Won by Pin
Match#2 - Won 9-0
Match#3 - Won by Pin
Match#4 - Won by Pin
Cory took on a Boiling Springs Junior High wrestler in his second bout and shut him out for a 9-0 major decision. Cory looks ready to make some noise again in the post season tournaments. GOOD LUCK, CHAMP!

GARRETT BILL
Match#1 - Won by Pin
Match#2 - Won by Pin
Match#3 - Won 12-6
The fact that Garrett has put together a 16-2 record in the first year of wrestling, may surprise some people. I can say though, I'm not surprised in the least bit! This kid's not done yet. Wait till you see what he pulls off in the last part of the season. There's no doubt he's one incredible athlete, and Littlestown Wrestling couldn't be happier getting him!

JOSHUA BOLEWSKI
Match#1 - Won 9-0
Match#2 - Won by Pin
Josh has hit a hot streak he of late, winning his last 4 bouts to bring his record to 7-3. The amount of natural talent you can see in Josh makes any wrestling coach get goose bumps. I guarentee this kid is going to keep getting better & better. He has improved as much as anybody has on the team this year. I look for Josh to finish the season in a strong way!

AARON BORTNER
Match#1 - Lost by Pin
Match#2 - Won by Pin
Match#3 - Won 8-2
Here's another one of our wrestlers who has the perfect attitude. Aaron attacks each match with a positive attitude and this meet's results show it. He had two huge wins, with one being a pin. Equally as impressive was the fight he gave in the one he lost. Way to lead our team, Aaron!

JIMMY BRADY
Match#1 - Won by Pin
Match#2 - Lost 5-13
I think we found the perfect sport for Jimmy Brady! He brings it all in each of his bouts, win or lose. Let me tell ya, the majority of them have been wins. It seems the competition can't hang onto the tail of this tiger!

ALLEN CHRISMER***TIGER OF THE WEEK***
Match#1 - Won 7-6
Match#2 - Lost by Pin
Match#3 - Lost 0-6
Allen was choosen as one of our TIGERS OF THE WEEK after he came back for a huge win in one of the day's closest bouts, 7-6. I know Allen has wrestled hard all year, but it always seemed he'd be on the losing end of the close bouts. Well, he reversed the trend at this meet, and made all the LYW coaches proud with his never-give-up effort! GREAT JOB, ALLEN!

RYAN COLLINS
Match#1 - Lost 2-8
Match#2 - Lost 1-2
Ryan wrestled two tough customers and came within a hair of going 2-0 against them. Last year, Ryan wouldn't have had a chance against such experienced wrestlers, but guess who's commin in a hurry? Ryan has had a strong desire to improve for the past two seasons, and that's exactly what's happening. I can't wait for the league tournament. I bet Ryan beats them guys if he gets another shot at it! Either way, don't change, Ryan. Good things will continue to happen if you keep the attitude you have now.

JACOB GRAMMER
Match#1 - Won 6-1
Match#2 - Won 6-1
Match#3 - Won by Forfeit
Match#4 - Won by Pin
I can't say enough about what our 14-3 rookie pulled off at this meet. Listen to this all you other LYWrestlers. Jacob came back to pin a wrestler who beat him soundly just a few weeks ago! I've said all year long you can accomplish anything you set your mind to, and Jacob proved that theory correct! AWESOME JOB, JACOB!!! Keep believing in yourself, and more great things are headed your way before this season is done.

TAYLOR GROUP***TIGER OF THE WEEK***
Match#1 - Won 6-0
Match#2 - Won by Forfeit
Taylor has quietly put together an outstanding season. I didn't realize how successful he's been, til I was putting the records together and saw that Taylor sits at 8-4 on the year. What a great job! He is another wrestler who deserves complimented on how hard he's worked to better himself. He may be one of our TIGERS OF THE WEEK, but with the leadership he's provided this team, he's really been one of our tigers of the year.

ROSS HOLLAND
Match#1 - Won 4-2
Match#2 - Lost 6-7
Match#3 - Won 2-1
Match#4 - Won by Pin
SUPERBOY!!! Ross is not only a very successful football & baseball player, but he's also one of the best wrestlers in the whole area. Hold on, I'm not done. One small detail on top of all of that. Ross also happens to be one of the smartest kids in his grade! How's that for getting things done? Like I said, SUPERBOY!

BEN KILLEEN
Match#1 - Won 9-0
Match#2 - Won by Pin
Match#3 - Lost 2-4 OT
Match#4 - Won by Forfeit
Match#5 - Won 6-1
Ben has always been a solid wrestler, but I notice a difference in Ben this year. He believes in himself, you can just see it! He is on his way to one of his most successful seasons, armed with that belief. Ben's only loss at this meet was in overtime to a kid who weighed over ten pounds more then him.

PHILIP MACY***TIGER OF THE WEEK***
Match#1 - Won by Pin
Match#2 - Won by Pin
Match#3 - Won by Pin
Match#4 - Won by Forfeit
Philip looked overpowering against the best kids we could find for him. The day would have been near perfect if not for a fall in which Philip's head went into cement. He went from not feeling his legs for a few seconds, to pinning the kid a short time later. We were all happy about your pins, Philip. But I can't tell you how happy we were to see you were O.K. Congratulations on being one of our TIGERS OF THE WEEK! (HINT TO THE OTHER SCHOOLS: Mats work great where kids are wrestling!!!!)

CODY NULL
Match#1 - Won by Pin
Match#2 - Won 7-0
Boy, did LYW get a great rookie class this year, and Cody is a strong member of that class! He put together two more wins at this meet to raise his season record to 9-3! Cody is a quiet kid who turns into a tiger once he hits the mat!

MIKE O'HALLORAN
Match#1 - Won 6-3
Match#2 - Lost 2-5
Match#3 - Won 4-0
Take a look at this kid! Mike is learning how to turn on the aggression in a big way! Get ready for this.......Mike has won 3 of his last 4 bouts! WAY TO GO MIKE!!!! You have a right to be mighty proud of yourself. Keep it going!

BRIK ORNDORFF
Match#1 - Won by Forfeit
Match#2 - Lost 6-7
Match#3 - Won by Pin
Brik lost a real heartbreaker in his first bout. It was the kind of loss that makes you want to sit and sulk. Not Brik though!!! He promply went to his next bout and took the competition down for a huge pin, all the while keeping that patented smile of his. Right after the pin, that smile of his became infectious.

CAMDEN ORNDORFF
Match#1 - Lost 1-7
Match#2 - Lost 2-14
Match#3 - Lost by Pin
It's refreashing to see kids have fun at wrestling whether their winning or losing, and that's why it's refreashing watching Camden wrestle. He's just a Bantam, and there's plenty of time for improvement & winning. Camden has 5 wins this year already, but the fact that he tries hard and never gets upset in the losses, makes him a winner every time out!

TONY POPP
Match#1 - Lost 2-5
Match#2 - Lost 2-6
Match#3 - Lost 9-10
Tony is our other Bantam, and he also has a great attitude by not getting upset. Boy, he had plenty of opportunities to get upset in each of his close bout losses, but whenever I looked over at Tony, he remained smiling. Don't worry, Tony, you'll win alot of them close ones in the future.

NATANIEL POST
Match#1 - Won 4-2
Match#2 - Lost by Pin
Match#3 - Won 11-1
You can just see the confidence growing in Nathaniel, and it's showing in his wrestling. He has been on a tear here of late, and he continued it at this meet, getting his 7th win, & 5th pin on the year! Is it ever fun watching young wrestlers, like Nathaniel, transform into mat tigers!

DANIEL PRICE
Match#1 - Lost by Pin
Match#2 - Lost 2-11
Dan may have not been wild about his results at this meet, but he can be proud of how hard he wrestled in them. The fact that he was forced to wrestle more experienced wrestlers did not take away from the fight that he gave. Don't worry, Dan. There will come a day where you're the more experienced wrestler. Just keep fighting like you have been, and good things will happen.

PAUL PRICE
Match#1 - Won 8-0
Match#2 - Won by Pin
Here's another amazing story I want all the other wrestlers to pay attention to. Paul is a 16-1 rookie, right. If that's not amazing enough, try this----Paul came back and beat the same kid who gave him the one loss. You can start to see what I mean when I talk about the awesome rookie class LYW has this year.

JOSHUA RUPPERT
Match#1 - Won by Pin
Match#2 - Won by Pin
Match#3 - Won by Forfeit
Match#4 - Won 13-3
Can you believe Josh picked up his 20th win of the season at this meet! WOW!! And there's a good bit of wrestling to go. Talk about a banner year, that's exactly what Josh is having this year!!!

TANNER SMALL***TIGER OF THE WEEK***
Match#1 - Won by Pin
Match#2 - Won by Pin
Match#3 - Won by Pin
Tanner is another valuable member of our super rookie class, and he continued to rack up the wins at this meet. It's not very often you get to see a rookie put together a 17-3 record, but that's exactly what Tanner has done. I'm telling you now not to be surprised by what this amazing wrestler accomplishes before this season is over.

TYLER SMALL
Match#1 - Won 9-2
Match#2 - Won by Pin
Match#3 - Won by Pin
Tanner's brother, Tyler has equally been an important part of our amazing rookie class. Despite the fact that he's been overmatched (experience-wise) all season due to the lack of 1st year wrestlers in the Junior division, Tyler has still managed to put together 12 wins. He may be one of the quickest improving wrestlers I've seen in the past three years.

ERIC SMITH
Match#1 - Won 14-0
Match#2 - Won 6-5
What an awesome day Eric had! He is such a fighter, and he has fought his way into 5 wins in the last 3 meets. I'd love to introduce any kid who has ever quit a sport to Eric Smith. They could learn a thing or two from Eric. That's one of the reasons I consider Eric one of our best team leaders.

BOBBY TAVENNER
Match#1 - Lost by Pin
Match#2 - Won 7-6
Match#3 - Lost by Pin
Bobby came through for a big win in his exciting second match. He has had the knack for getting it done in his close matches, winning several with come from behind wins. There's no doubt he's on the list for outstanding rookie performances this year. He raised his win total to 9! Why couldn't I win that many in my first year of wrestling? Probably because I didn't work as hard as Bobby.

TREVOR TOPPER
Match#1 - Lost 8-10
Match#2 - Lost 2-4
Talk about being a hair away from going undefeated on the day, check out the scores of Trevors matches. Keep your chin up, Trevor! I know you gave your all, and next time I bet you're the one getting their hand raised. One thing's for sure, you always know Trevor will be giving his all. He's been doing it all season.

TIMOTHY VALENTINE
Match#1 - Won by Pin
Match#2 - Won 9-4
Next outstanding rookie up, Timothy Valentine. Boy, has this kid found the right sport or what? All he's done in his first year, is rack up 11 wins already! How's that for potential? I personally can't wait to see just how far Timmy will go in this sport. I know one thing, and that is it'll be a long way if he keeps progressing like he has been.

RYAN VAUGHN
Match#1 - Won 10-0
Match#2 - Won by Pin
Match#3 - Won by Forfeit
Match#4 - Lost by Pin
It seems the only way to tack a loss on this hammer is to wrestle him against much heavier kids. That weight disavantage is the ONLY reason Ryan lost his 4th bout. No problem, Ryan, that will help you attain the lofty achievements I have the feeling are coming your way in the very near future.

ZACHARY VICK
Match#1 - Lost 2-13
Match#2 - Lost 4-6
Match#3 - Won 7-0
You can't talk about rookies with a ton of potential without bringing Zach's name up! He has put together an impressive 7-4 record so far. As with some of our other rookie Juniors, Zach has done most of that record against more experienced kids. QUITE IMPRESSIVE!!!

BLAKE WAGAMAN
Match#1 - Won by Pin
Match#2 - Won 4-0
Blake's steady improvement shows no better place then in his season record. The fact that he's gone 9-3 so far this year show's me he's learning a great deal of wrestling from somewhere. The question then, is he learning most of it from me or his talented brother, Colby?

COLBY WAGAMAN
Match#1 - Won 4-3
Match#2 - Won 7-0
Match#3 - Lost 2-4
Don't be fooled by the three losses in Colby's 13-3 record. If I'm correct, all three were to kids NOT in his weight class. You see, this talented team leader has been ripping through his weight class, so we started going up in weight to better prepare him. Prepare him for what? Can you say Championships? That's what Colby is on pace to get alot of!

CHARLES WALLS
Match#1 - Won 6-1
Match#2 - Won by Pin
Our tournament King showed up at match #6, and continued where he left off at the last tournament - Dominating the competition. If you want to know what I mean when I talk about being aggressive, and taking it to the competition, just watch Charles in any of his matches. He does it right in every match he wrestles. That's one of the reasons he's got 31 wins already this season.

KEITH WEAVER
Match#1 - Won by Pin
Match#2 - Lost by Pin
Match#3 - Won by Pin
Sure do wish I had another Tiger of the week to give away, because Keith deserves one, hands down, after his performance at match #6! He has turned it on in a big way the last couple of matches, continuing it with 2 pins in this one. AWESOME JOB, KEITH! KEEP IT UP!!!

CHRIS WETHERSON***TIGER OF THE WEEK***
Match#1 - Lost by Pin
Match#2 - Lost by Pin
Match#3 - Lost by Pin
Our TIGER OF THE WEEK may have had better results in another meet, but the effort he gave in each of his three matches deserved recognition. That is why it was easy making Chris one of my choices as Tiger. Stay hungry to improve, and keep wrestling with the heart you showed in this meet, and you don't have to worry about victories. They'll happen naturally.

RON WETHERSON
Match#1 - Won 7-4
Match#2 - Won by Pin
Match#3 - Lost by Pin
Talk about a tough kid! Ron has impressed me in a big way all season, and he continued at this meet. He collected his 9th win on the year in match #2, then minutes later tried to wrestle match #3. Sorry about that, Ron. I should have stopped you before you began. I know you beat that guy if you're rested, but coach slipped up that time. Forget it, and keep wrestling with the same aggression you have been. Just make sure you have a shelf at home sterdy enough to hold trophys!

SETH WREN
Match#1 - Lost by Pin
Match#2 - Won 6-0
Match#3 - Won by Forfeit
You want to hear about improved wrestlers? Check this story out. Seth Wren went 3-13 last season. That same Seth Wren currently sits with a 10-6 record this season! Now that is enough to give me goose bumps! Put simply, I couldn't begin to ask more from a wrestler. Seth is officially IN THE HOUSE!!!

TYLER ZITTLE***TIGER OF THE WEEK***
Match#1 - Won by Pin
Match#2 - Won by Pin
Match#3 - Won by Pin
Thank goodness Tyler Zittle is a Thunderbolt! Could you imagine being the opponent? I'm not sure how to put this, but Tyler is an animal! Specifically, a tiger to the core. Just check out this tiger's roar at the Cen-Penn Championships. Believe me, it won't be hard to hear!
