Garrett took on the only kid who clearly beat him earlier this year. (he pinned Garrett) This time, the winner wasn't so clear. What we thought was a Garrett win, turned out to be a heatbreaking 4-5 loss. Either way, Garrett made a major statement in how he closed the gap on this kid. He was honored as one of our TIGERS OF THE WEEK.

Taylor showed why he is considered one of this team's leaders all year. He just put an exclamation point on it, going 7-1 in his final 8 bouts of the regular season.

Jacob has been in his share of heartbreaking losses this season, and you can add his last bout to the list. The effort he's given all season, and especially in that last bout, has earned him one of our TIGERS OF THE WEEK. His turn to win some of those close ones will come.

Matched against some superb competition, Cody made it hard to believe this is only his first year, in how he wrestled. First year guys are supposed to get pinned by these guys, but not Cody!

Zach is such a strong first year wrestler, he's found himself wrestling more experienced kids multiple times this year. There's no telling what kind of huge numbers he would have put up if he wrestled first year wrestlers only, but the improvement Zach got from wrestling such tough competition, beats a huge record any day! Non the less, Zach still finished with a winning record!

KEITH WEAVER

It becomes natural to find yourself rooting for a great kid like Chris. Although it was heartbreaking to see him lose these two close bouts, it's uplifting watching a kid give the 100% effort that Chris has given all season! I just hope Chris understands that winners aren't always the one's getting their hand raised at the end, and Chris is a definite winner!

I knew Corbin was something special after watching him wrestle his first match. The fact that he's gone 10-4 (all 4 losses were to more experienced kids) in his first year isn't a surprise to me at all. When I say this kid's got a bright wrestling future, I'm not kidding!
